Made in the USA the Remington portable was first introduced in 1920, it has a gear-locking typebar mechanism, a red and black typewriter ribbon, and a four-row QWERTY keyboard.
Free moving quality made mechanism (which would benefit from a new ribbon).
Including original outer case with its cleaning brush secured within and period travel label to the exterior, the handle has been repaired/replaced at some point with a more secure solution.
