Extremely rare large format spot light comprising of Air Ministry components and original fresnel glass lens.

This lamp has real presence and can be angled to illuminate specific areas.

Research suggests that large format lamps like this were used in large hangar spaces, used as search lights and also used for entertainment productions.

Converted to domestic bulb fitting and in-line switch, complete with LED bulb which is easy to replace.

This lamp comes with a substantial tubular metal tripod which was previously used in the servicing of aircraft that were routinely suspended off the ground for work to be conducted.
