Petroleum giant Esso was on a roll with collectible promotions to win over mid-Century customer loyalty. 
Consisting of 76 individual colourful foil badges (and collectors fold out folder) given to motorists making fuel purchases. Kids throughout the land were preoccupied with ‘swaps’ to complete their collection. Hours were spent dreaming up ways to encourage Mum & Dad to use more fuel…… dicey fuel guzzling overtakes in underpowered British Leyland cars were to be encouraged and applauded from the rear seats!
