Traditional renaissance solid wood design X-frame chair with feature ladder back, ‘drop-in’ recently reupholstered seat, sweeping fine bentwood arms, back rails with finely turned finials.
The Savonarola name is taken from a chair found in the convent of San Marco in Florence which was used by the 15th century Italian Dominican priest Girolamo Savonarola.
An attractive seat design which can be used as an interesting focal point.
