We have pleasure presenting this very stylish Art Deco demountable, three part pedestal desk. Originally made in mahogany it has mellowed over the decades to resemble a lovely mid tone Walnut colour. This is a well made desk and would have originally been sold for a premium by a high end furniture retailer.

This antique desk has been cleaned throughout and polished ahead of sale, it is ready for immediate installation and use. 
The desk comprises two separate 4 drawer pedestals with turned pulls and removable desk top with moulded edge, original fabric writing surface with two drawer frieze with brass cup pulls to drawers. Simply lift off the top for ease of relocation in three parts.
This is a previously used antique item with age related indentations, rub marks, minor scratches and signs of wear and veneer losses. This desk has received minor repairs at intervals during its life which is always good to see (drawer bottoms), the rear panel to the right hand pedestal has been replaced at some point in history with polished solid mahogany plank, there are veneer losses to the rear plinth on both pedestals (this is regularly found on antique desks, this is generally due to years of rubbing the rear plinth against skirtings, damp walls).
