Displaying its original RAF roundels and period grey livery this model has incredible fine details. An incredible innovation conceived in the 50’s, realised in the 60s and going on to provide four decades of distinguished service before a shortsighted premature retirement due to Government budget cuts. This display piece was commissioned by A&AEE Armament Experimental Establishment, MoD Boscombe Down who were responsible for the evaluation, design and provision of armament solutions for the Harrier. This model measures 46cm from pitot tube to tail and 24cm wingspan. The model and stand is in excellent condition and comes with bespoke packaging for its safe storage and transit.
