Decorative collection of 5 vintage Chinese ‘Mudmen’ Shiwan figurines.
Made using traditional hand moulding and glazing techniques which date back through the centuries. Shiwan ware is Chinese pottery from kilns located in the Shiwanzhen Subdistrict of the provincial city of Foshan, near Guangzhou, Guangdong. It forms part of a larger group of wares from the coastal region known collectively as "Canton stonewares" 
Featuring 5 male figurines including scholar, musician, writer and skilled tradesmen.
Nicely detailed and painted these pieces are highly collectible.
