In the style of 18thC cabinet maker / marquetry maker Giuseppe Maggiolini, early 20thC Italian Neo-Classical Walnut three drawer commode.
Consisting of sturdy solid wood construction decorated with finely executed foliate parquetry to drawer fronts, commode sides and top (some well executed historical replacement of small pieces of missing veneers). Parquetry follows popular patters and designs of the late 18thC including central roundel to the top/sides/front, strap borders and foliate traces to the drawer fronts and repeating patterns to the sides of the commode.
The commode rises on square tapering legs.
An attractive piece that would be equally at home in living areas, bedroom or hall/landing situations which offer the opportunity for an interesting display piece.
