An opportunity to purchase a project piece for the buyer to undertake their own light renovation to their own taste.

Attractive large format early 20thC freestanding glazed display cabinet /bookcase with inlaid mahogany veneer finish. An ideal piece for use as a drinks cabinet, display cabinet or bookcase.

Comprising of moulded edge top, delicately inlaid frieze over two equal glazed doors flanked by inlaid curved columns and glazed return to each side, moulded edge base, all rising on short cabriole legs.

Internally two fixed shelves, the shelves, cabinet base and cabinet back are covered in original green fabric (faded, we recommend buyer paints the fabric to own colour choice or applies new fabric to their own taste).

This is a previously used antique item of furniture with signs of previous use including fine scratches, indents and marks. At the top section of the right hand column a fine bead moulding is missing, during its life a previous owner has removed the fine vertical and horizontal decorative glazing bars to the two equal doors ( a regular modification in an attempt to modernise furniture). This attractive piece is sturdy and with light renovation would become a versatile display, drinks cabinet or bookcase.
