Large format 18thC French Armoire in fabulous solid Chestnut, a grand statement piece acquired from a substantial country house.
This wonderful craftsman made antique armoire was designed to be easily dismantled and rebuilt using nothing more than removable wooden dowels and clever interlocking joints.
Comprising of removable stepped cornice with trailing vine detail over two panelled doors with French style apron with beaded outline, panelled sides,  raised on shaped and channeled design legs. Decorative polished brass hardware, two removable internal shelves and hanging rail to top section.
The inside can be configured for full drop hanging or by placement of one or both shelves the internal accommodation can be divided for more versatile use.
To be supplied in loose panel form to be reassembled in-situ, this statement piece can be easily transported in parts and installed in home locations that involve navigation through tight staircases and smaller doorways.
Once assembled the item can be moved as one.
