Classic moulded cornice with inlaid detail to frieze over two equal astragal glazed doors opening to partitioned bookcase with six height adjustable/removable shelves.
Chest base including fully fitted Secretaire drawer with 5 pigeon holes and 6 drawers with maple veneer detail, generous fold down work space with line inlaid front and Georgian brass pulls. Three further graduated drawers with original Georgian pulls raised on bracket feet.
This fabulous example combines generous work space, lockable bookcase/display and generous storage in the base. A credit to its former keepers and original makers.
