Circa 1950’s Artisan vintage reproduction Louis XVI Style Kingwood Marquetry Bonheur du Jour by premium luxury Spanish furniture maker Mariner 1893. 
Dating from the second half of the 20thC  this fabulous two piece writing bureau was made with incredible attention to detail and the finest materials and craftsmanship. Quality and design echoing the standards and appointments of the finest 18thC and 19thC furniture makers.
Comprising of two main parts, removable demi-lune shaped upper cabinet case supported on elegant matched table base.
Demi-lune upper cabinet with pierced metal gallery and ormolu detailed frieze, two central doors with fine marquetry finish and embossed oval ormolu crest and escutcheons enclosing single shelf, curved sides with single shelf with pierced metal gallery, fine ormolu quadrant bead to platform base.
Elegant writing table consists of fine foliate marquetry top designed to compliment the removable upper cabinet, ormolu bead edge detail, two short frieze drawers with fine marquetry drawer fronts with ormolu escutcheons, oval ormolu mounts to corner edges and fine marquetry to sides, fine ormolu bead to bottom edge, supported on turned fluted tapering legs with decorative ormolu collar and finely detailed ormolu foot.
