1930’s Bingo game produced by Milton Bradley Company, Springfield Massachusetts, USA.
Consisting of original box and full contents, multiple bingo playing cards, rule sheet, numbered markers and sheet for the callers use and blank wooden counters for players to use to mark their card.
Milton Bradley Company, an American board game manufacturer established in 1860, the bingo set designed for home use was used for the entertainment of civilians during the dire days of WW2- for instance, within rooms and shelters built for protection against air raids or poisonous gas attacks.
Many of these game sets were donated as Gifts of American People Thru The American Red Cross. An identical example is held by the Imperial War Museum.
Bingo is a simple multiplayer board game for all ages dating from the 1900s. A game that crosses all ages.
