1960’s boxed original puppet - SS Mitzi by Pelham Puppets of Marlborough Wiltshire.
Part of the Pelham Puppets SS Range, consisting of hand painted wooden ball head, blond hair, hand painted features, blue eyes, large composite hands with closed fingers, metal strip knee joints, string above knees, wearing a green felt summer hat, white blouse, black corset, pink paisley pattern skirt, yellow feet with original box. 
Mitzi was the designed along with her best pal Fritzi ( not included), very similar to other characters from Holland. 
Original coloured control strings and wooden controller, offered in very good condition (please note creases and small tears to original box).
32cm tall puppet. 
Pelham were decades ahead of British manufacturers when it came to using recycled materials in its manufacturing processes including wood offcuts, fabrics, etc.
