Quality vintage 1960’s car flag trio.
Dating from the 1966 World Cup this quality piece of memorabilia consists of three printed Union Flags on nickel poles with domed tops (one dome missing) mounted on rubber suction base ( the rubber has become solid and brittle with age).
The British Made flags are colour fast printed on cotton, the colours are still true.
During the period the Union Flag was a more frequent sight at England international games than the St George’s Cross, Wembley was a sea of Union Jacks and Union decked World Cup Willies!
