Decorative vintage Chinese ‘Mudmen’ Shiwan figurine in the classic form of the immortal Chinese God Lu Xing, the god of fortune and influence, 
Made using traditional hand moulding and glazing techniques which date back through the centuries. Shiwan ware is Chinese pottery from kilns located in the Shiwanzhen Subdistrict of the provincial city of Foshan, near Guangzhou, Guangdong. It forms part of a larger group of wares from the coastal region known collectively as "Canton stonewares" 
Nicely detailed and glazed, highly collectible.
